He visited Rune regularly. He may have used up some political capital to make the sentence lighter than it was. Coda's reputation is now okay-to-neutral-to-not-great. He's been living with Rune for five years, for his own reasons, working closely with him. Those who are inclined to judge Rune harshly are inclined to paint him with the same brush. On the other hand he's still known for high integrity, and he is known for being a pretty damned good investigator and person to have on your side when you've got a problem.
