New developments in the case of the Lucky Boar Studios and Kuponzi data theft have arisen as Dominique Cantrell pleaded innocent to charges of conspiracy larceny and theft of 38 server blades from the office of Lucky Boar Studios.

Dominique Cantrell, 32, the security guard on duty the night of the theft, is charged with conspiracy to commit larceny and accessory to a felony in the incident. She posted a bond and is currently free.

Cantrell will appear before a judge for a bond hearing.

Court records detailing the charges are currently sealed.

At roughly 1:30 AM April 25th San Francisco Police Department was called to the business to investigate larceny. An IT admin for Lucky Boar Studios reported the theft of the company's on-site servers, which contained data for a number of tenants not limited to the company: San Francisco startup Kuponzi was also effected by the theft.

Three suspects that appear to be aided by Cantrell on security camera footage departed with a number of financial documents and 38 server blades. In the early hours of the morning of the theft, Cantrell can be heard on Sentry records radioing her supervisor with what he describes as "frantic" demands to have security footage deleted.

A psychiatric evaluation has found her to be of sound mind.

Lucky Boar Studios is a production and animation company with a sister office in San Leandro. They were sharing server space with Kuponzi, a data hub for the convenience retail industry.
