The Arrivals

Tierney is juuuuust a little bit of a type A perfectionist in recovery, right? So she's here early - not, because, as she insists to herself, she needs to please anybody or prove anything to anyone, but because she wants to be here. Plus, well, she does got 'dat bullyboy merit, so she does get shit done...and maybe they need her to do something....because, it's good to be neeeeded. Her entrance is quiet - no a sneaky slinking in the shadows, just a quiet kind of click-click-click of boots on concrete, nothing more.

The warehouse awaits! The parking lot surrounding it is empty, save for a utility van on the opposite street corner, but it was there last time too. Part of the adjacent property, probably. It's quiet, save for the standard urban noise of cars whispering far off.

Grant is here, having taken goddamn UBER to get nearby. Or perhaps he took Andy Amber's personal car service. Regardless he would not stoop to doing something as boorish as /driving/, himself. Truth is, he hasn't allowed himself to do that for years, since he drove off a freeway on purpose just for the fuck of it. So here he comes, on foot, dressed his usual oddly dated way despite the modern T shirt and jeans. It's down to how he creases the jeans, and the cuts he wears, the choice in leather shoes like some kind of hipster. He is striding on past the van, past the lot, to the warehouse and past its gate, inside.

Andy was here without anything on LAST night. Tonight he's presumably wearing... something. Something is tight jeans, red lipstick, eyeshadow and glitter, and a T-Shirt that says 'I TESTED POSITIVE' and then in little tiny script 'for being fucking amazing' underneath it. It's a genderfuck night, you know?

He didn't actually drive Grant here, he was looking at warehouses, for a plan he has. Step 1, he needs to figure out how to keep it secret, because he doesn't want the Cops or the Camarilla crashing his forever party.

Luz, Frawst, Javier: The warehouse awaits! The parking lot surrounding it is empty, save for a utility van on the opposite street corner, but it was there last time too. Part of the adjacent property, probably. It's quiet, save for the standard urban noise of cars whispering far off.

"Hello you two - " Tierney greets Andy and Grant, first, as she enters the warehouse. Rather deliberately, she strolls toward the each of them in turn, and, if allowed, she'll lean in, like she wants to exchange European-style air kisses on either side of their cheeks. Maybe she got into a mortal on acid on her way here, as Tierney seems the sort who'd rather eat glass than be caught dead (uh, well, more dead) air kissing.

Andy looks back and forth, like he's not sure what's going on. "Uh, hi, Tierney." He says, "..What's up?"

Luz shows up, looking like a young Hispanic woman tonight. The emotionless expression she wears, eyes cold and unblinking, combined with the literal chill that follows her around all do a pretty good job of marking her as Luz, though.

Danielle Washington makes her appearance, alongside Aibreann, her apparent escort. Aibreann is looking horrifying as ever, some sort of waterlogged burn-victim kelpie that decided to do a human impression, her mouth a beartrap of needles for teeth, her hands with all the grace of excavator buckets. Danielle and her pet raven Bhusunda look quite underwhelming by contrast, and they step out from the dark, as if the both of them have been waiting. "Who brings me news?" Danielle asks.

Frost is sitting cross-legged in the meager light provided by a hole in the roof. The index fingers of both hands are wrapped tight with floss, and he is WORKING those back molars. Yes, even the dead can get uncomfortable chunks stuck in between. The floss also makes a good, implied excuse to not answer any questions.

Frost stares at Aibreann, drooling slightly as he works, and wonders if it would be impolite to offer some floss.

Javier is dressed in all black, because he only has one colour in his wardrobe. His hair is done in a braid that rests over one shoulder. Hands in his pockets, he looks unusually pensive, as if absorbed in some thought.

Xenofon strides into the area silently, carrying a single stone in each hand, both of them marked with dried blood. He nods to the gathered crowd of Cainites and responds to Her Excellency's question almost immediately, saying, "I bring news. I have divined the fates of the Iron Shields pack, and have word to pass to our leadership." He waits for Her Excellency to recognize him to speak further.

Tierney blinks at Andy, then whispers something in passing. Once she's said what she needs to say, she finds a spot of wall to lean against and watch. She keeps one eye on the entranceway.

What Tierney has to say to Andy makes him pause, and then he looks around. There's always some sort of *critter* hanging around. A rat, a pigeon, a bat, a SOMETHING. He even makes a low, ratlike chitter in his voice to call any rats nearby to him.

Xenofon's update gets Danielle's intention indeed, and she looks right at the harbinger and his mask. "Please," she says, "I would be most appreciative."

Not All Is Right

Andy makes his sounds. He doesn't hear any rats, however. But what everyone does hear is a repetitive scratching sound, that of a dog not far off in the dark, scratching its ear.

Danielle finds this all terribly out of place, and she frowns at the sound of the stray. "Wait," she says, peering in the dark. before she looks about herself in skeptical silence.

Andy pauses, and then puts his hand on his chin, before he mouths... something. Can anyone read lips? 'We've been made' is what he says, without saying it.

Luz looks silently between Xenofon and Danielle, apparently awaiting the former's information... and then Mama says to wait, and her gaze sharpens warily, moving across the warehouse.

Frost stops flossing as the atomosphere in the room changes. With floss still wrapped around his finger, he waves at Mama, points at himself with a long, dirty fingernail, and then motions to the door with his thumb. Like, 'Me go.'

As the tone in the room shifts, Grant takes some siwft steps toward Andy, silent, his hand going for his switchblade, which is coming out, as he looks about, calling up the Blood for heightened senses.

Andy curls his lip, and crosses his arms. He taps one sneakered foot. Tap... tap... tap.

Danielle's fingernails are longer, and she abruptly rules, "Search." She didn't mean wait indefinitely, after all. More like 'wait, something's wrong'. Aibreann doesn't bother to make herself pretty for whoever their esteemed guests may be, but the both of them together are headed toward the back exit of this dark, clammy chamber of a warehouse.

Javier has a tight frown on his expression, and he scans around the room, eyes coming to a pause on the exit. "That's..." he trails off, tension in his jaw.

There's a sound on the roof, a slide and thump, like someone may have lost their footing.

"Oh, shit. Whose idea was it to have all the Sabbat gathered in one warehouse?" Javier wrinkles his nose.

Xenofon removes a trench knife from his coat that while well maintained, probably dates to one of the two World Wars. He looks upwards in response to the sound on the roof, then quickly answers Javier with, "I can confirm that this is definitely not all of the Sabbat in San Fransisco.

The warehouse has a north and a south exit. Danielle and Aibreann are headed to the north exit. You all have heard a thump and slide on the roof. From the interior, there aren't immediate routes to roof access, but there's the two normal doors, then 2 loading bay (garage style) doors on the east side. There are ladders on the exterior of the warehouse by which to get on the roof.

Tierney's upper lip curls into a displeased snarl. Her aim is to move swiftly and silently toward one of the ladders. If she can catch someone's eye who also might look like they're prone to throwing people off roofs, she'll jerk her head for them to come along.

Luz's head snaps in one direction... towards the south exit. "There is someone over there," she says, and raises her hand to point in that direction.

Antanas hears Luz, and he looks to see about the other exits. He heads to the north side where Aibreann and Danielle are headed, as well as Tierney, but then he stops as he sees a group going to a chokepoint. So he decides to just go straight for that south exit, instead. Someone's gotta.

Frost is a gangly ghost man! Haha!

Oh Boy, Here I Go Killin' Again

Well, if Antanas is going out, Luz is going with him. She turns, wary and silent, to stalk towards the south exit.

Javier hesitates, and he stays well behind Luz and Antanas, but he heads for the south exit as well. He will pause a good few yards behind them to scrutinise what exactly is outside.

Grant steps toward Xenofon. He has a knife, and apparently intends to cover Xeno and Andy.

Antanas wastes no time. Knife in hand, he heads right outside, Luz behind him, and Javier not so far behind him. He glances left, he looks right, he sticks to the wall as he makes his way along it to the right, on the quest for whatever's first: a ladder, or someone to murderate.

The darkness seems to flow with Javier, cloaking him in shadow, so that his form fades into a harder to distinguish silhouette in the night.

Luz, Javier, and Antanas -- None of y'all see someone to murderate! None of y'all! Except, of course, there's that dude on the roof.

Ascending the ladder, Tierney swings onto the roof. Quickly, she tries to deftly remove her heeled boots, so that she can move even more quietly across the roof top and approach whatever it is she sees.

Luz pulls a knife from her own pocket, following after Antanas. Nobody here to murder, though, and the corners of her mouth tug down in the faintest of frowns.

Javier, you see nothing. On the bright side, you are very handsome and those shadows make you look fuckin' baller. Perhaps you are taking a moment to admire how fukken awesome you are and that's why you notice nothing else. Because nothing else matters when you're this cool.

Antanas sees Roof McGee.

Luz still knows there's someone on the roof from earlier, but can't see them exactly, in the dark, not yet.

Re: hiding places - The grounds are surrounded by a brick wall fanged with barbed wire, with grim and looming metal gates the unwelcoming color of dried blood. If they're hiding, it's probably behind that brick wall.

Apparently your sect leadership are two dumb bitches, because they're outside on the north end, as Tierney whisks herself away, and although they stalk the perimeter on the lookout for what the fuck must be on the roof for no good reason, they don't do anything exciting, like say 'There!' or leap in for the kill.

Luz slips her knife back into her pocket and stalks towards the brick wall surrounding the warehouse. She tries to climb it, aiming to get just high enough to peek over the edge.

As Tierney approaches, her target on the roof remains oblivious, moving into place.

Shots Fired

Luz lifts herself up over the gate and lo! She does find, through the power of deductive reasoning, that there is someone here! It's a man, crossbow at the ready, dressed in all black, with a mask and goggles obscuring his face. His build is burly, his hands are gloved, and at the last second he turns and spots the wild Luz. "Go!" He yells, "South! Go!" As he shouts this, he backs up a step, raising his crossbow to fire at what small sliver of head Luz has presented.

Luz immediately and instinctively ducks her head to avoid getting shot between the eyes, and her voice rings out, sharp and accented, just a moment later. "Hunters!" And then she tries to launch herself over the wall at the dude.

"Roof," Antanas growls, but then he hears the other dude. He makes the split-second decision to aid Luz, darting for the sound of her voice not far off.

At that warning, Roof McGee snaps his head south, crossbow swiveling, oblivious of the predator behind him, to fire at the person yelling about hunters. This is his moment! His DESTINY! He fires! And --

Javier hangs back uselessly. He doesn't try to go up on the roof, because there are no shadows there, and instead watches and waits. He looks around for ways to go behind that wall.

AND - Tierney leaps onto him, letting out a primal sort of snarl. All that lean and wirey muscle wraps around McGee, and she grapples him. The two of them smash into the roof with a cacaphonous sound, and then Tierney wrenches her hips toward the side of the building where Danielle and Aibreann are. She and McGee go rolling down, thud thud thud thud thud thud SLAM. Then, rising to her feet, nimble, she presents McGee to Danielle, lifting him off of his feet by the grippign the back of his neck with her cold, tight fingers.

Andy has resorted to listening to the banging up the roof, though at this point he's checking his phone, looking annoyed and chewing on his bottom lip.

The crossbow bolt makes its strange, hollow click, drowned by the snarl from Tierney above. To those inside, they can hear the yelling, the scuffle. Both crossbow bolts sail past Luz and the other man, who starts to make a break for it, as Roof McGee comes crashing down.

At the appearance of Andy's cellphone, Grant scoffs. "Seriously? God damn it, Andy." The noise outside kickstarts his attention, and so with the switchblade in hand, he leaves Andy and Xeno to either stand or join him. "Come on, join the fun."

Halfway over the wall, Luz is forced to duck and twist, suddenly pressing herself flat against the top of it. The sudden noise from the roof causes her to wince, but it doesn't distract her enough that she gets hit - either that, or the aim of the two guys is really bad. That's also a possibility.

Andy puts his phone away. "Honestly what kind of ambush is it where there's only one angle of attack," He mutters, "You surround the building, cut off all avenues of escape and eliminate cover--" He trudges along behind Grant. "I was expecting them to bust in, and I'm not some Anarch, I don't *scuttle*-"

Xenofon moves to follow Grant, saying as he does, "I guess the being on the roof has been disabled."

Tierney's quarry doesn't go down without a struggle. That crossbow that he fired he tries to use as a bludgeon against the woman who took him down, and as they both fall, the impact is no fun. For Tierney's undead body, the fall is pretty negligible, though. "AAGH! RUINER!" He accuses, his yelling enraged.

Danielle and Aibreann look to the interloper, and don't hesitate to assist in dispatching him.

Frost pops into existence as he vaults the wall and tears after the fleeing hunter, who had better pray that someone elss catches up to him. If he looks behind, he'll see a stained grin leading a flapping trenchcoat.

Luz straightens, and again tries to launch herself down at the guy behind the brick wall.

As the vampires outside break into chasing the second guy, someone else comes sprinting into frame, flying past Aibreann, Danielle and Tierney (and Javier?) at breakneck speeds from their previous hiding place at the wall. Their destination appears to be that white van, and in hand they have a shotgun, but they apparently lack the presence of mind to use it just yet.

Tierney follows Danielle and Aibreann's lead, when it comes to dispatching of the hunter. As someone goes sprinting past, she decides to give chase, like a bored cat that has just seen a plump mouse.

Javier is content to just watch for now. He even crosses his arms. He has great faith in his sect-mates.

Tierney's bored cat chasing the mouse act backfires on her -- she's not fast enough to catch him. As he hits the car, he whirls around to greet Tierney with the mouth of that shotgun. Think fast!

Frost and Antanas keep pace with Runningman, but it's Luz who is able to catch up. Tackle him with Strength + Roll, diff 7!

Eat your fukken heart out, Kendricks, Luz explodes into vengeful fury and shows the hunter the pavement. The contact with the asphalt is so brutal that as Antanas, Frost, and whoever else chased Runningman catch up (shortly), he's stunned on the ground.

Grant is running after Tierney, for the car guy.

Joy of joys! Gary Numan (here in my car) is not safest of all just yet, but he's firing his shotgun! And Grant has showed up just in time!

Luz literally pounces on the dude. She doesn't even say anything as she slams him to the ground, aiming to hold him there, although she does flash him a fanged snarl. And stay down.

Frost runs with his hands outstretched like he's on Supermarket Sweep. "Oooooo," he squeals in delight, "don't hurt him too bad: I wanna see what I can do to loosen that mmmmm tongue!"

Seeing that the other party is taken care of, Javier runs after the white van, to keep the scene in his sights. He is behind Tierney and Grant.

At this point, Andy sees that everyone seems to have everything taken care of - he's not in any hurry to make up the distance.

The blast of the shotgun cracks out in the night, as Javier rolls up just in time to see Tierney dive out of the way, and Grant -attempt- to dive out of the way, but Grant lacks Tierney's dancerly grace. Apparently, it's not good enough for the either of them.

The blast of the shotgun awakens Javier's Beast as the hot lead spray rips off chunks of his beautiful face! Tierney tries to escape the bullet blast, and she's peppered with lead, but can shake it off thanks to her undead state. Had she been a mere mortal, it would have stunned her. Grant, meanwhile, is only spared by RNJesus, and as Javier gets a face full of lead the offense to his body drives him to frenzy.

Meanwhile, Luz is the Sabbat's very own Fred Warner, and the guy that she just took down (like a gazelle) is bound to be missing some teeth.

Andy watches Grant shrug off that side fulla buckshot... and then watches Javier start to lose it. He raises his hand as if making ready to begin an incantation.

Luz is focused more on the man she just tackled than on the impending threat that is Javier - though she does wince, quite visibly, when the shotgun blast goes off. She grabs the dude's - the human's - hair and yanks, turning his head towards the approaching Frost. "He is all yours."

While a little pain might be Tierney's idea of a good time, she doesn't appreciate having it doled out by humans. Afer hissing, she decides that she needs to speed up in order to effectively dispatch shotgun dude, Tierney now gets real real fast. She wants that shotgun and she wants to beat the human who shot her to death with it.

Javier lets out a strangled gasp, and staggers back. And then when he looks up, his face has changed, pull back from any semblance of human into this hissing, snarling mask. Shadows begin to snake up from underneath the van to envelope the hunter like a warm, snuggly blanket.

As Luz cranes the man's head back, his broken teeth and bloodied face stain the mask covering his lower face. His pulse is rushing in his heart, and then it hiccoughs, his breathing rasping and labored.

Frost runs his freezing hands all over Runnigman's face, smearing the sweat and blood around in a bizarre caress and popping the dude's mask off. "This is all part of it," he croons, "This is foreplay. Let's see what manner of man they send to do a job like this." Frost presses the man's cheeks together into a pucker and DEMANDS eye contact with his sheer force of will. "Tell me where I can find the rest of your organization in the city, and how they found us."

Without even a 'please', Tierney wrenches the shotgun out of the hunter's hands. Drawing it up over her head, she brings it down, again and again, over the hunter, until his face dissolves into a pulpy fragment of what it once was. Blood splatters - but, that's why she wears black, after all.

As Luz cranes the man's head back, his broken teeth and bloodied face stain the mask covering his lower face. His pulse is rushing in his heart, and then it hiccoughs, his breathing rasping and labored.

The shadows start to grow over Tierney and the shotgun guy. It's a heavy, sticky mist of fog, impenetrable to all light, and making it so that one can barely see past the front of their nose. The smothering blanket concentrates over the hunter's mask, wriggling and dancing with malevolent intent, and looking, perhaps, for any gaps within the air filter so that it may snake inside.

Gary Numan goes out like some kind of horrible snuff film, beaten senseless with the shotgun, choked by tentacle grape, and Danielle and Aibreann have their claws and blades for good measure.

Luz turns her gaze on Frost, cool, unblinking, and unimpressed. She tightens her grip on the man as he wiggles. He's not going anywhere. "Answer his questions," she tells the unfortunate hunter. "Or I will peel your skin from your muscle and your muscle from your bones, and your death will hurt much more than it needs to."

Once shotgun gun guy's been dispatch, Tierney takes a step back. One of her perfectly arched, pre-death, brows arches - it's a silent sort of 'not it' on disposing the body. Hefting the shotgun in her hands, she considers it, probably meaning to keep it as a trophy. It might be fun to play with. "Should check out the van," she says, to those in earshot.

Cyanide Pill

The defeated, formerly-running man obliges Frost with some juicy eye contact, but declines to participate in conversation. Instead he attempts to spit some blood into the Cainite's face. The force needed to project his spittle escapes him at the last moment, and the hunter begins to convulse and jerk against the grip of the two icy vampires, eyes rolling back into his head, blood and drool pouring onto his chest. Death. "They don't normally do that," says Frost to the dead man's lips. "Maybe you squeezed too hard."

Andy approaches, and leans down. He begins to inspect the guy going through his death-throes, attempting to ascertain just what's going on here, and seeing if the guy can be yanked back from the precipice.

Javier and his shadows are hell bent on ending the guy who's just peppered him with shotgun rounds. He doesn't hear anything else, and a couple of not-so-friendly tentacles snake over to Tierney. They wrap themselves around the shotgun in her hand, trying to yank it off.

The hunter jerks beneath her, beginning to spasm, and something seems to click in Luz's head, her gaze sharpening. Fangs still out, she suddenly leans down to bite down into his throat and drink like it's the last time she'll ever get any blood, ever.

Antanas stops, and as the dude starts convulsing, Antanas just watches. His attention strays toward the building again, and he steps back. "I'm checking the rest of the building," he says, as he moves off. "Let us not all get too distracted."

Frost stands up and nods to Antanas, but there's still something puzzling him about not-so-much-running-anymore man. He turns back to the hungry, hungry vampire eating the guy's throat out, and his hanging, slack jaw. Frost takes a finger and wipes it all around the inside of the dude's teeth, then pops the finger back into his own mouth for a taste.

Sta-a-a-ahp! *Sob* He's already deeead!!!

Roofy is a pile of dead.

Shotgun, well, he is also dead, but Javier is making sure he is triple dead. And he is taking out his entire unlife of frustrations on the shotgun. And Tierney by proxy.

So Grant is going to try to stop Javier, snap him out of it. "HEY! Hey, fucker!" Grant jumps on Javier. "HEAD IN THE GAME!"

Danielle and Aibreann will assist in the calming-down of Javier. Between one of 'em, one of these cats has gotta be able to smack him out of it, or soothe hsi Beast with the Blood.

There are tentacles on her toy. Tierney hisses at Javier, but, it's a warning. "Shadows to yourself, brother," she warns, blue eyes narrowing.

"Ah! Sweet! Haven't seen one of these since Berlin. I, ah," he looks down at the back of Luz's head, "assume you know this guy had a cyanide tooth?"

Andy has... gone... somewhere. Presumably he's gone off to mug somebody someplace *else* and raise such a ruckus and furor the cops get called THERE instead of responding to the gunshots HERE. ...Probably going to push a nice old lady into oncoming traffic.

Luz, as you guzzle down dat darjeeling, and its sweet, almondy notes, you feel dizzy and sick! Your vision blurs, your throat burns, but you power through like it's a spicy vindaloo.

Luz drains her babby vampire to be, guzzling down that blood, as bad for her "health" as it is, as Javier comes to from his righteous fury and Antanas and Grant check the perimeter for anybody else.

As the man is drained, his body spasms, limbs and feet shaking. And it smells. Not like almonds.

Javier hisses at Tierney, before he gets tackled by Grant, and then Danielle and Aibreann. The shadow try one last yank at Tierney's shotgun, even snaking up on her hands, before they retreat. And then Javier goes down, and he's pissed. "Fucking fuck fuck fuck... get off me!"

2 for 2.

Luz makes a face, visible nausea cutting through the determination on her face. For a second, it looks like she might pull away from him to hurl up all the blood she just drained... but she keeps going. And when he's empty, she bites open her own wrist, tearing at the flesh in her haste, and shoves her bloody wrist to his mouth.

When the shadows retreat, Tierney tosses her braided hair (which now has blood flecks running through the platinum blond) over her shoulder with a little 'hmph' and then saunters on toward the van. As she left her shoes by the roof, she's still in her bare feet. She wants to make sure there's no one left inside, and, if there is, maybe she'll just use their fallen members' shotgun against them.

As Luz's wrist shoves into the hunter's mouth, his throat and tongue lay motionless. The blood trickles in. No stranger to the embrace, surely, Luz can't quite tell definitively if he will or will not rise, but the dust has settled. It'll take a few minutes, during which time other things can be done. Perhaps his body can be dragged somewhere for the waiting.

Approaching the van, Tierney can see the windows are tinted. It sits in silence. It's backed up into the parking space for a quick and easy peeling out.

Frost licks more of the blood, sweat and spit from his fingers before wiping the rest onto the crowded canvas that is his trenchcoat. One more DNA deposit to remember the evening by. "Well, that's a thought. Gotta hand it to you for getting through all that taint. We should make that one of our Games. Anyway, if the lad pulls through, perhaps he can get some quiet time with his therapist."

Considering the van, Tierney gives it an experimental push - the way someone might screw with someone who is sitting in a porta potty. Except, this is a vampire, screwing with potential hunters in a van, wanting to jostle them around. Cocking her head to the right, she listens.

Luz finally sits up, astride this poor fellow, and looks like she's still fighting back nausea. She stares down at him, then turns her unblinking gaze on Frost. "If he wakes up, he will be hungry." She gets up, grabs the dead hunter's wrists and starts to pull him back behind the wall, towards the warehouse. "If he pulls through, I do not care what you do with him, as long as somebody gets the information from him. I will not let him die until we get that from him."

If there is anybody in there, Tierney is very certain that they must be some kind of fucking ninja. She can see that there are keys in the ignition.

It appears that Luz's baby vampire to-be has shit himself, because as she moves him, the scent of shit trails along after her, the body's displacing fluffing the 'scent' into the air.

Frost is always the perfect gentleman and grabs the ankles when Luz takes the arms. Teamwork! Frost steps in some shit, but what's new. His broken shoes allow a toe to smear through it a lil.

The Dust Settles

Tierney decides to let herself into the van. After doing a visual check, she'll rustle through it for anything interesting, of course - identification, wallets, registration, information collected about them, phones, that sort of thing.

Antanas makes his round of the complex, and he announces that he has found nobody else.

"Search the place, search that car -- the letters brought them here, they must have," Danielle says, her voice tense with annoyance. "So they must have seen the first pass!"

"Your Excellency," Grant says, as he approaches, dropping them deets that Xenofon had originally come to bring, but Xenofon is, IDK, doing something with Andy. "Xenofon has found the ultimate fates of the Iron Shields, these who come for us tonight must be the ones who took them out, they're almost all dead, all but one, and another haunts a reservoir, his spirit lingering."

Danielle looks to Grant as he delivers Xenofon's message. "Where?"

Grant gives the answer: "George Otsuka is in some sort of metal tomb, according to the omens from the spirits, some kind of metal tomb in a rich man's home on a winding road. Staked. The others are all dead, one is a ghost, I don't understand spirits but a necromancer such as himself should be able to retrieve his account of what happened."

Tierney - there are not phones in here, but there are insurance papers in the glovebox beneath an owner's manual and some bottles of water. In the center console, you find a small, wooden disc.

Javier is quiet as he comes to. He pokes at his wounds, investigating the extent of the damage. And then he looks up, his face neutral, to watch Grant speak to Danielle.

Frost sits cross-legged on the dead man's chest, just in case, and cups his hands around his mouth so he can call out to Tierney's tight ass hanging out the truck door, "You know how to check those things for trackers? I wanna take it to Home Depot after this!"

And Luz sits on his legs. Carefully. She doesn't need to get shit on herself. That's enough of a hazard in SF already.

Meanwhile, Andy, after reworking his face, pushes a hooker out in front of a fast-moving truck, trying to pick his moment to make sure the truck also gets rear-ended by at least one car. He yells something out declaring his adoration for a recently deposed conservative political figure and that they'll come back to power in 2024, before he bolts to change his face again and beats it.

Frost looks over at Luz. "I can't drive in this traffic and our boy here will be up soon. You got a place we can stash him?"

Frost looks down at Runningguy's resting corpse face and sniffs. "I'm gonna be a godfather."

Tierney - there are not phones in here, but there are insurance papers in the glovebox beneath an owner's manual and some bottles of water. In the center console, you find a small, wooden disc. It has some weird geometric design on it with what looks like Hebrew on it. It does stand out thanks to the design, but it doesn't feel imbued with anything spooky. You've come across things that are Spooky before, this ain't it.

It smells nice, flowery, junipery. But it has some brownish stains on it.

Tierney decides to share the insurance papers and disc with someone smarter than her.
