A Courteous character is known for being a genteel role-model within their sect. If a character is insulting you to your face, you can have someone (who has the authority) administer the status Warned to the one who is insulting you. You can spend Courteous to deflect the negative status Warned if you get Warned, yourself. You'll lose the Courteous status as a reflection of losing IC face, but your reputation will at least shield you this once.

How Do I Get It?

The Courteous status is rewarded by the Harpy, the Prince, and any vampire who, outranking the Prince, has the Sovereign abiding status.
