Vampires and Evidence

It is general knowledge among vampires that if something leaves a vampire's body (an eyelash, a hair, a tooth, etc.) it's going to decay rapidly over the course of 24 hours to the point that it would have naturally desiccated according to your time of death.

If your vampire spent vitae for Blush of Health (or if they have the merit), then their body produces natural oils and spit etc., meaning that they indeed leave fingerprints like a normal person. Vampires who have not used or are incapable of using Blush of Health lack said natural oils and thus don't leave fingerprints, unless of course they touched something sticky, dusty, or an oil/liquid like blood or ink.

Vampires who meet final death burst into flame and rapidly decay to the point that their corpse should, in fact, appear according to time of death.
