Staff and players can issue a Timestop at their discretion by typing +timestop. When this occurs, that location is frozen in time for the characters involved and no IC action can go forward within that context until a storyteller is present to allow it to go forward.

If you are in a timestop, then you are obligated to abstain from participating in other scenes until it is resolved. If the scene cannot be resolved on-screen after 48 hours because of conflicting online times, then staff will rope those involved into a +job to discuss and decide the resolution of the scene OOCly, collecting dice rolls to the +job where appropriate.

If you enter a grid room that has an ongoing timestop, you may participate in that scene by default, but there may be an IC situation that leads the storyteller to give you special instructions, such as to wait, to leave, or RP understanding there is an exceptional IC situation that heightens your personal IC risk.
