Murder Victim Identified In Bayview

Medical authorities identified the man who was shot in the head while driving through Bayview Monday evening as 22-year-old Refugio Suen of San Francisco.

Suen was driving near the intersection of Hawes and Thomas Avenue at about 2 a.m. when someone fired at him, causing Suen's vehicle to crash into another parked car, according to police.

Suen was taken to San Francisco General Hospital, where he later died from a gunshot wound to the head. It's the city's 6th homicide this month, said Officer Sophia Reed.
