• Limitations: A rating of 5 is the maximum.

Guide is a background which you can read more about in Sorcerer Revised. There are no pre-requisites, besides being a Psychic and/or Hedge Wizard.

In Character Generation

Guide is a standard Background bought with Background dots, Freebies, and Starting XP.

When you take dots of Guide, you will need to include somewhere in your backstory how this background rating has impacted your life. Please include a note discussing your Guide, and cover the following:

• Personality/Concept: What is this entity?
• Impact: What sort of impact did your character's relationship with their guide have on your character?
• Propitiation: A relationship with a Guide is symbiotic: you worship and propitiate it, and it will in turn benefit you. How does your character keep your Guide happy?

After Character Generation

Guide cannot be raised after character generation.
