Denise Barnes
Denise Barnes
Overview
A chipper, enthusiastic activist who is also an artist that likes to do fun things with her texlaxed hair. She's an artist and writer for Mission Mini-Comix (a self-published political comics group) and Change Of Heart (a street newspaper), in conjunction with SF Open Heart Fellowship. Hers is an open-minded expression, a friendly energy. She dresses simply, t-shirt dresses, blue jeans and t-shirts, 90s acidwash jackets that fits too loose and yet just right. Her complexion is deep, dark and rosy and her angular eyes are a sweet, caramel shade.
Very friendly and open-minded, Denise always finds a classy way to comment on or ask about topics that may embarrass people instead of saying something bluntly. She is very personally invested in identity politics in the best interest of her community.
PRP Runner Resources
If you like the SF Libertine hook, Denise Barnes can be used as an NPC for your plots if you would like to have a character who is engaged in activism towards drug rehab and support of the homeless and food-insecure. You can always make up your own NPCs for this, but she's available for those who prefer working with something that's already there.
