Gonzalo Lopez
Known Among Vampires
Lopez rose to prominence as an organizer and strategist during the bloodbath in LA, utilizing his influence over manufacturing businesses and the warehouse district to set up guerilla attacks and hide the wounded. Eventually showing up in San Francisco, he secured the title of Baron in 1999.
Known Among Anarchs
Lopez was, for over a hundred years, a pillar of the Anarch community in California. Known (discretely) to be Ventrue, he worked diligently against the encroachment of the Camarilla. His known skills are mostly suited toward logistics and organization due to his past as a trader during the gold rush. He rose to prominence as an organizer and strategist during the bloodbath in LA, utilizing his influence over manufacturing businesses and the warehouse district to set up guerilla attacks and hide the wounded.
Eventually showing up in San Francisco, he secured the title of Baron in 1999. Recently, however, something has dulled within him and he's begun bending more and more to the Camarilla's incursions. For the moment, nobody else has the skill or political backing to unseat him, but rumors have begun to circulate that he's somehow compromised.
Lopez Imports

Hooks
Are you considering to apply an Anarch character? 'Lopez Imports' and 'Hired Gun' are backstory aspects available to all prospective Anarchs as a baked-in plot hook.
- Lopez Imports: Whether as an actual employee, a courier, or security detail to protect its 'interests', your character works for Baron Lopez's imports company, and in your nightly grind you sometimes see the 'sensitive' goods -- bodies and baubles alike. Maybe you're here for the pay. Maybe you're biding your time for the night that some unique cargo is 'lost'. Maybe you're here to leverage something out of whatever scandal has to be buried in the occult connections Lopez makes with his clientele.
- Hired Gun: Lopez didn't hire you to politic. Lopez brought you here to rip and tear until it's fucking done. You've heard the bitching about the Baron and how this slow burn to independence is too slow. If only they knew and appreciated the hits and heists that he's hired you for. It's been need-to-know so far, but you know in your undead heart there's a big reveal he's building up to. You've planted too many explosives, set up too many dead drops, and took out too many people for the case to be anything less.
