A character who is Disgraced has already been Warned and did not heed their Warning, or did something incredibly egregious in the first place.

Those who are Disgraced are prohibited from using powers or possessing weapons in the presence of sect officials and may not feed within the sect's territory. If the Disgraced is caught breaking the rules (no using powers or possessing weapons around sect officials, no feeding within sect territory), they can show contrition by offering the a major boon (or debt of blood) and the offended party will be obligated to accept it. If a Disgraced character refuses to offer this contrition, they may then become Forsaken.

The Disgraced title encourages poor (IC) treatment of the character in the following forms: nobody owes anything to disgraced characters (so a Disgraced character cannot leverage outstanding boons, favors and debts) and those who publicly insult a Disgraced character gains the fleeting status trait Praised (from a sect member authorized to assign it).

Why Would I Become Disgraced?

If you become Warned and continue to misbehave in the same manner that got you Warned in the first place, then you will graduate to Disgraced unless you're willing to offer a minor boon or its equivalent (like a sworn debt).
