When approached on the rare occasion that she goes to Le Petit Garcon, Zora is concerningly quiet and watches Fuzz with that stultifyingly grim Resting Slav Face as she hears his offer. She stares at Fuzz for long enough that whether she may ever speak is a very legitimate question.
"You may one day take communion with my providence," she finally judges. "Leslie Diaz awaits my Judgement in the Intermediate State. She was unearthed in Pacific Heights." She shoves a phone at Fuzz with the relevant news article. Of note, it says Leslie went missing in 1993. When a vampire dies, their body rapidly decomposes to the state that death would have brought them were they to naturally dessicate since their embrace. When she went missing, to Kindred, was 2021, and who knows what her internet or video footage footprint looks like. "She did not die on time," Zora says. "The police must believe Leslie Diaz died on time."

Overview

Zora Pavlova, the Malkavian Sheriff, has been around for decades and has been Sheriff since the early 2000s, as part of Winder's regime change.

Impressions

Zora shows up to most Court gatherings, quiet and on the side-lines. She delegates little-explained errands like chess pawns designed for a grander play and will only give details when explicitly asked for them. She keeps a professional distance with most of the Praxis, and prefers to remain detached so as to remain "impartial", as she puts it. Zora is typically not a woman of many words, but she is observant and polite.
