Overview

Luna Demian is a reluctant Regent and Primogen who would rather focus on her studies, but here she is, thrust into responsibilities that her sense of duty bids her to fulfill. Luna is most notable for her work in developing the ritual Ward Against Cathayans, which is exactly why she is in the offices she holds, as it laid groundwork for removing the August Courts from San Francisco.

Impressions

Luna Demian, Regent, is a middle-aged woman who carries herself with a severity and gravity of presence that can only come from a matriarch who takes herself perhaps too seriously. Humorless, stern, despairing, dreary; these are the moods that forever haunt her angular features and her critical eyes. Her pale skin, silver hair, and draping, white dress carve an image like a cemetery angel: alabaster and deathly depressing.

Hooks

• Regent: Luna is responsible for leading the chantry, effectively the Tremere leader of a domain. May or may not also sit as Primogen - if they don’t, the Tremere Primogen is subordinate to the Regent. The Tremere recently implemented a new organization plan where a large metropolitan area under Camarilla control will have a central chantry that controls smaller satellite chantries. The head of the central chantry in these networks is given the honorific of “High Regent.”

• The Aurora Society: Somewhere in Haight-Ashbury, a 'forgettable' building looms over the street in deep red stone, its masonry heavy and imposing, with an exterior that balances the line between the air of an old church and the institutional, unsettling look of an asylum. It is the Aurora Society to the few whose minds manage to hold onto a glimpse it, but to the fellows of her clan, it's their chantry.
