A Sacrosanct vampire is an ultimate authority within the Sabbat, whose commands are sacred, and who has the right to perform any of the Auctoritas Ritae. A Sacrosanct vampire can contradict or ignore any orders given by those who are not, themselves, Sacrosanct. They may initiate any Ritus Ignoblis, and all Rituum Auctoritatis (except the Blood Feast and the Wild Hunt) at will. They can award an individual the fleeting status Favored or Resolute at will. Once a month, the Sacrosanct vampire can administer a Rite of Contrition, perform the Blood Feast, or initiate the Ritus of the Wild Hunt. Sacrosanct can also use their once-a-month action to issue letters patent, altering the practices of the sect, according to the position from which they derive Sacrosanct.

Prisci, Cardinals, and the Regent are Sacrosanct.
