Obtenebration mechanics are found on pages 188 - 189 of the V20 Core.

Arms Of The Abyss: Successive use of Arms Of The Abyss destroys the previous manifestation. Tentacles summoned with Obtenebration 3 can NOT independently relocate. The surface must instead be moved. Tentacles add Potence to their strength, however you can not spend 1 BP to turn your tentacles' Potence dice into successes.
