Lauren Mitchell has lived in San Francisco since 2014, when she arrived from the Los Angeles area in order to attend SFSU. She bummed around for a few years and never graduated, and now is publicly known to work as a personal assistant. Apparently handling tech workers' calendars and late night Whole Foods runs pays fairly well, because she lives in Pacific Heights.
Except...
In reality, the "personal assistance" she supplies is a lot more personal than she lets on: she works as an escort, using the name Mercy. Her ads aren't hard to find, if you know where to look, and she markets herself as someone who offers dates, conversation, and emotional intimacy. For this sort of worker, she's solidly in the middle range for pricing: expensive compared to streetwalkers or girls working at rub and tugs, but not so ultra high end that only tech oligarchs can afford her company.
