Breyenne Silva

If all that gets you through bitter patience is hope of sweet fruit, you've wasted your time. Acquire a taste for the bittersweet.

Who?

Breyenne is a long-time resident of San Francisco. In her late 30s, she's a graduate of UCLA Irvine and works as a content writer/copywriter/technical writer, and has been at it long enough she can pick and choose her contracts.

Hooks

  • She shops at farmer's markets and small shops all the time, and tends to buy decor handcrafted or upcycled by local artists - what she can afford, anyway.
  • Her diet is almost exclusively raw food and take out, or restaurant food. Find her at any eatery.
  • She travels all around San Francisco, in search of food, coffee, or obscure ingredients.
  • Listen, not to spoil things, but she's surprisingly unable to just let things be, against her better judgement. Just be mildly distressed or interesting while she passes by.

Who? Supes Edition

Breyenne was born and raised within the Verbena, and continues to practice that path - though she emphatically remains coven-less. She was also a long-time associate of the San Francisco Chantry, meeting and marrying her ex-husband there. Jacksyn Walters was the more involved of the pair, though now has moved primarily to a different city. Still, both were generally known to assist when requested to, and in the past three years Breyenne has shown a willingness to continue that habit.

For those old enough, or nosy enough, to find random data, there was an incident twenty years ago she was involved with that led to some animosity between herself and her coven of origin.

Hooks

  • She's been with the Chantry a while. While not exactly friendly, neither is she antisocial. She'll talk to people if they're around.
  • She's an enchanter, and is dabbling in alchemy. Her Mentor, Adelaide Pine, is a 70yo shapeshifter and enchanter.
  • Like most practitioners, she's something of a nerd. Less obviously, she simply enjoys learning about ways and reasons people cast.
  • The incident 20 years ago is neither secret nor SUPER exciting, but there are elements that could be twisted to something wildly exciting. By all means, if you want to have heard something outrageous, I'm here for it.
  • Cross-sphere: Breyenne's been in San Francisco for a goodly chunk of time, and magically for it all. If you want to say we're acquainted, that's cool!

Last couple of months kinda been a disaster
Tell all my friends I'm asleep if they ask ya
Sorry I had to move to Alaska
Little Hurt: Alaska

And she takes my wrist, I feel her imprint of fear
And I say, "I've never thought of finding you here."

She isn't real
My parents lie
I know the truth
But I could never tell you
Or they will all cry
