• Limitations: Chantries themselves max out at 10 dots.

Chantries work as described in the M20 core and are considered a pooled background, which means you can contribute to an existing chantry.

In Character Generation

Characters may not come in with pre-existing dots of Chantry. You are, however, welcome to benefit from the existing chantries on grid.

After Character Generation

In order to contribute Background Dots to a Chantry, put in a request to staff. The Chantry will improve as a result of the improvements made on it. If you wish to improve the chantry directly, such as, for example, creating a Sanctum within it or arranging for dots of Arcane, this is possible, but needs staff adjudication. These sorts of changes will require majority approval from Chantry members.
